Paid To Play

Still don't know how to monetize your blog? Perhaps you haven't come across a program that fits your style or even theme of your site. Okay, so bear with me and take a look at Net Audio Ads. It's not exactly a new program, as a matter of fact is has been up and running for about two and half years now with over 66,000 quality advertisers.

Here's the scoop. You receive your own little snippet of a code to place on blog and a five second audio ad is heard as soon as your site is loaded. The best news of course is that you get paid every time the ad is heard. Go ahead and count five seconds. It isn't very long. Besides people don't have to click on it or anything like that in order for you to get paid. Sounds like a pretty cool investment, wouldn't you say?

I believe Harley Davidson as well as Taco Bell has jumped on the Net Audio Ads wagon, so to speak. In any case, until February 1, 2008 you can be part of a lucrative affiliate program. After said date, it turns into a "host model" only. Which, I believe, is making money from the audio ads will be your only source of revenue.

All this to say, go study the system for yourselves and see if this is something you might want your blog to be a part of. We at the Family Book Cellar are members of this program and so far we have no complaints. We're paid to play.
