A Working Week-end: The PSA

Friday was supposed to be a 5:00 pm call time. My son was doing an anti-smoking commercial for Virginia Tobacco, produced by "The Oil Factory" in downtown Los Angeles. He gathered all his schoolwork on Thursday and decided to sleep in Friday morning. That is until we got to call at 9:00am to be there at 11:00am. In any case to make a very long story short, we got there 45 minutes late (since we live about 3 hours away from LA, this was pretty good) and the PA was very forgiving. I think I will write this up into article form, since the day was very interesting, for Associated Content. Ah, if you're interested then, that's where you could read the rest. AC is still the best money maker for articles. Remember they pay you for the article and then on top of that your article keeps earning with every page view.

Saturday was pretty lazy except that we looked for the base of the Christmas tree all day--nothing. Every year we do this. Something is always lost and we either have to buy a new one or borrow it. Last year we couldn't find the Tree skirt. Oh wait, we found that on January 1st when we were taking everything down. Go figure.

Sunday was fun, we had our Church Christmas gathering. Lots of food--great food and awesome fellowship with one another. Of course organizing this was a whole other story. The work was worth it all. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
