SpreadShirt lets you create your own store, design your own T-Shirts, tote bags, and lots of other accessories. Never on your own dime either, unless you have the need to be extremely upper class. The free stores work well, especially if you can create original design work. You can even get paid if someone uses your designs on their apparel.
